The Finnish Petroleum Federation gives acceptance numbers to detergent combinations used in Finland. Every product used in a wash must be approved for use together with other chemicals used in the wash.

For example, a brush-washing machine uses several chemicals, such as solvent, shampoo, wax and foam. The chemicals used in the same machine and wash must have the same acceptance number, such as ÖKL 308 EL.

This is to ensure that wrong chemicals which might interact and create environmentally hazardous compounds are not let into the sewer system. Municipal environmental authorities control the suitability and approvals of detergent combinations.

PRE-WASH

MIKRO Microemulsion pre-wash detergent

• Alkaline, microemulsion-type pre-wash detergent concentrate.
• Fast-acting pre-wash detergent particularly for winter, when mere shampoo is not enough.
• Removes difficult dirt, such as asphalt pitch, oil, soot, fuel spots, ice-control salt, etc.

Use:

• Use as a pre-wash detergent in place of solvent.
• Can be used in a undiluted form for particularly difficult dirt or to wash the washing-machine's brushes.
• Use for pre-wash to make the solution 20 to 50%, depending on the weather and dirt.

Solution's pH: 11.0.

WASH

X 1 High-performance shampoo

• Efficient, lasting alkaline detergent concentrate.
• Also suitable as a pre-wash detergent.
• Fast-acting detergent for removing oily dirt, ice-control salt, pitch and other difficult dirt from all surfaces.
• Washes effectively in cold and hot water.
• Almost odourless, contains no hydrocarbon solvents.
• Biodegradable.

Use:

• Follow the machine manufacturer's instructions.
• Thin to make the solution 5 to 20% for pre-wash, 5 to 10% for manual wash, 10 to 25% for high-pressure washers, 1 to 5% as a shampoo for car-wash machines, depending on the weather and dirt.
• Can also be used on wet surfaces.
• Solution's pH: under 12.0.

SHX Summer shampoo

• Alkaline, gentle but efficient detergent concentrate particularly for summer.
• Suitable for brush machines, high-pressure washers and manual wash.
• Fast-acting and low-foam.
• Gentle to aluminium and other sensitive surfaces.
• Biodegradable.

Use:

• Follow the machine manufacturer's instructions.
• Thin to make the solution 5 to 20% for manual wash, 10 to 30% for high-pressure washers, 1 to 5% as shampoo for car-wash machines, depending on the weather and dirt.
• Solution's pH: under 12.0.

WAXING

SUPERWAX Hot and rinsing wax

• High-quality wax concentrate.
• Used for waxing with car-wash machines and high-pressure washers.
• Suitable as a hot wax and a rinsing wax.
• Gives the car a lasting, high-gloss, water-repellent surface.
• Protects the car's painted surface between washes.
• Biodegradable.

Use:

• Follow the machine manufacturer's instructions.
• Thin to make the solution 0.2 to 0.4%, depending on the machine type, or use as a concentrate for machines equipped with injector mixers.
• Solution's pH: 7.0
